Project: Real-Time GPS Tracking
The extremely small and light-weight sportsCurve device represents the latest developments in GPS and telecommunications. The combination of the state of the art satellite positioning solutions and detailed mapping data is a perfect basis for monitoring individual tracks, runs, rides and all other adventures – from the sea to the sky!

The archived data allows the monitoring and visualization of individual performance and performance improvements. The high-quality device and ease of use make sportsCurve the ideal trace and track solution for a large range of applications, from professional athletic analysis to the monitoring of family members and even pets.



From space to industry
Christian Stammel has a deep understanding of high-tech markets with entrepreneurial exposure expertise and has strong links to European networks in the fields of geographic information systems (GIS), Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and information technology/telecommunication (IT/TC) system.

He is a leading member of the largest organization for GIS companies in Germany ‘Round Table GIS’ (Runder Tisch GIS), and is the head of the working group for Galileo/GIS.

ESA business Incubation
sportsCurve is being hosted at the ESA Business Incubation Centre Oberpfaffenhofen managed by Anwendungszentrum GmbH from December 2009 to December 2011.
